Dr Maria Rasool has been working in NSW health system for more than 10 years. She originally received her medical degree from Pakistan. She completed her Australian medical council registration examination then worked in Sydney. She completed her all core clinical rotations including Geriatrics, General medicine, General surgery, ICU/HDU, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Rehabilitation, Mental health and Emergency Medicine at St George, Sutherland and Fairfield Hospitals. She moved to Western NSW to train in General practice and committed to continue to provide her services to the same region. During her course of work and training she did diploma of child health, Emergency Medicine certificate and Focal Psychological skills training. She has particular interest in Family medicine including Women's health, paediatrics, Geriatrics, Basic Mental health example Anxiety/Depression and Emergency Medicine. She is committed to continue professional development and is pursuing her second fellowship in Emergency Medicine as a rural Doctor.
